In her own words. Nazira came to the United States to continue her education and is beginning a nursing degree.
My name is Nazira, and I am an Afghan student who came to the United States with a dream of creating a better future through education. My journey has not always been easy, but through the support of the Afghan Scout Relief Fund (ASRF), I found encouragement, stability, and people who believed in me.
Leaving my home and family behind was a difficult step, but the kindness and support I received helped me continue pursuing my dreams and reminded me that I was not alone.
Today, I am excited to begin the next chapter of my journey as I start studying nursing. My hope is to build a meaningful career where I can care for and help others, just as so many people have cared for and supported me. I am deeply grateful to ASRF and everyone who has been part of my journey, and I hope that one day I can give the same hope, kindness, and support to others.
